The Business Case for Women’s Football

Women’s Football is already a high growth sport and even more commercial value could be unlocked if all stakeholders in the game invested to the extent that the game deserves.

To help galvanise these stakeholders into action, UEFA commissioned O&O to lay out the growth trajectory for Women’s Football in all European markets, across media rights, sponsorship and matchday revenues. In doing so, we built up the first ever comprehensive database of information on Women’s Football, using consumer research from 14 markets, a survey of the continent’s clubs and leagues and input from senior academics, executives and experts.
